Linwood, NC Linwood, NC Full-time Full-time From $19 an hour From $19 an hour 7 days ago 7 days ago 7 days ago As an Impregnation Operator you will be responsible for ensuring the impregnation process with the paper is executed properly with machinery by accurately following certain specifications for the impregnation process and examining impregnated paper for defects.
Responsibilities Operation of line such as cross cutter, sorting table and transport conveyors.
Permanent quality checks (surface).
Checks of paper measures (length, width).
Reports to shift supervisor or machine operator.
Providing samples for QM/Laboratory.
Assistance with maintenance and cleaning tasks.
Commissioning, packaging and loading paper pallets into high bay via EWM system.
Removal of scrap material with forklift.
Cleaning of working environment.
Troubleshooting online.
Labelling of packages.
Supply of coverboards and stripes.
Execution of transport tasks in the whole IMP-area.
Maintain and observe the safety regulations.
Maintain and observe the 5-S system.
Qualifications Work efficiently and manage time effectively.
Great attention to detail.
Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
Problem solving skills.
High ability to manage stressful situations in a manufacturing environment.
Basic computer navigation skills.
